1951 Hudson Hornet 6 Custom Convertible

Asking $73,900 - Sale $39,900

Highly customized Hornet featuring “Step Down” widened chassis rails that were the precursor to unitized frame and chassis. This lowered the center of gravity providing superior handling. Hudson’s were very strong performers in the early years of NASCAR. This model was customized for parade and film work and came from the famed Eldon Hostetler collection. Previous owner was Denver collector and Hudson dealer John Soneff. At one time, Hudson was the number 4 automaker in the United States, founded by J.L. Hudson (of Detroit Department Store Hudson’s, now Target) and eight other Detroit businessmen.
