October 2018
WOW was the word heard by all the guests who attended the private party at Club Turner at The Stutz in honor of Turner’s 70th birthday. The party started in Turner’s newly expanded art studio in Stutz II with signature cocktails and passed hors d’ oeuvres. As guests mingled around the spacious and intrigued-filled studio, each had the opportunity to sign the large piece of artwork created just for the evening. All at once, live saxophone music filled the room and brought the conversation to a halt. It was at that point where long-time friend Marsh Davis, president of Indiana Landmarks, presented Turner with the distinguished Sagamore of the Wabash honor. As if that would not have been a way to end the night, guests found out it was just the beginning. Rob Dixon, sax player extraordinaire, serenaded guests as they paraded New Orleans style, via a red carpet walkway up to The Stutz Car Room for a sit down dinner for over 100 guests! The evening started with WOW and ended with WOW!
