White River Yacht Club Classic

The White River Yacht Club held their classic car show with proceeds donated to the Riley Children's Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Research. Turner loaned his 1928 Stutz Blackhawk Special for the event! Built in Indianapolis as a land speed record car and driven by Indy 500 winner Frank Lockhart on Daytona Beach in 1928. It reached 220 miles an hour before it crashed taking the life of Lockhart. Turner’s 1948 Chrysler Town & Country “Woody” Convertible was also on display.
